Rafael Nadal- King of Clay

Rafael Nadal is great Spanish tennis player, who was born on 3 June 1986. After Roger Federer he is regarded is the greatest tennis player of all times. His 7 times Roland Garros (French Open) earned him the title “King of Clay”. He won his last Roland Garros trophy in 2012 beating Novak Djokovic of Serbia and setting a record of winning 7 times Roland Garros trophy. His success on the clay court has compelled the tennis historians to give him the title “The Greatest Clay Court Player of All times”.

So far, Nadal has won a total of 11 grand slams out of which 7 grand slams are Roland Garros. He is the brilliant clay court player of tennis, which is why it is almost very difficult to defeat him on this surface. Nadal has also won the 2008 Olympics Games gold, which almost a dream for tennis athletes.

Adding more to his records he also holds the record of 19 ATP World Tours Master 1000 Tournaments. In Davis Cup, which is played by a group of each country, he was also the part 2004, 2008, 2009 and 2011 in these Davis cups finals for his Davis Cup Spanish Team.
